Candidate forums are a valuable way for voters to meet those running for office, but they can also feel a bit artificial—complex issues like housing, climate, and city planning rarely fit neatly into a one-minute answer. Many of these topics require nuanced discussion, and some extend beyond the direct authority of City Council. I do my best to offer clear, thoughtful responses in that setting, but I also welcome deeper conversations—on your porch, at a community event, or over coffee—about the creative, collaborative solutions we can pursue together for Frederick.
